After Salah

Astaghfirullāh

I seek forgiveness from Allah.

Allāhumma antas-salām

O Allah, You are As-Salām (the Source of Peace),

wa minkas-salām

and from You is all peace.

tabārakta yā dhal-jalāli wal-ikrām

Blessed are You, O Lord of Majesty and Honour.

Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah

There is no god worthy of worship except Allah alone, with no partner.

lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamd

To Him belongs all sovereignty and all praise,

wa huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr

and He has power over all things.

Allāhumma lā māniʿa limā aʿṭayt

O Allah, none can withhold what You give,

wa lā muʿṭiya limā manaʿt

and none can give what You withhold,

wa lā yanfaʿu dhal-jaddi minkal-jadd

and no person’s wealth, status or power can benefit them against You.

Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah

There is no god worthy of worship except Allah alone, with no partner.

lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamd

wa huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr

and He has power over all things.

Lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh

There is no might and no power except through Allah.

Lā ilāha illallāh, wa lā naʿbudu illā iyyāh

There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, and we worship none but Him.

lahun-niʿmatu wa lahul-faḍlu wa lahuth-thanāʾul-ḥasan

To Him belong all blessings, all bounty and all beautiful praise.

Lā ilāha illallāhu mukhliṣīna lahud-dīn

There is no god worthy of worship except Allah; we devote our religion sincerely to Him,

wa law karihal-kāfirūn

even though the disbelievers may dislike it.

Subḥānallāh

Glory be to Allah

Alḥamdu lillāh

All praise is for Allah

Allāhu akbar

Allah is the Greatest
